Solar power plant
Solar power, not indeed a recent term, is benefiting the sun energy received on earth. Its mechanism is the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovoltaics (PV), or indirectly using concentrated solar power (CSP).
The International Energy Agency projected in 2014 that under its “high renewables” scenario, by 2050, solar photovoltaics and concentrated solar power would contribute about 16 and 11 percent, respectively, of the worldwide electricity consumption, and solar would be the world’s largest source of electricity.
Apart from solar cell use, about thirty years ago, solar power plants have been created to as a valuable renewable substitute for producing electricity. The Roxan Group renewable energy section, focusing on solar power use, believes in the creation of solar power plants. In large areas, numerous solar panels are placed after extensive project studies, either fixed or equipped with a tracker to orient toward sun. Our mission is to bring benefits to our clients, people and environment, by procuring and commissioning solar power plants, and thus reducing revenue consumptions, preserving non-renewable resources, advancing the industry and moving toward sustainability.
Our executives tasks, in accordance with R & D, frameworks:
- Demonstrating technicality and economic feasibility of photovoltaic power plants under real conditions of the operation site
- Defining the PV technology that is best suited for the operation site climates,
- Identifying the weaknesses and strengths of the PV system performance, and propose solutions.
- Estimating the hosting capacity of the grid and market for solar power plants
